Born in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset in 1957, Clare Hooper moved to Italy in 1994, where she has her studio in a Mediterranean village on the coast of San Felice just south of Rome. Clare’s unique art form represents the sparkling and effervescent view of her approach to life. Each piece of work is a canvas of joy and energy, which communicates her vibrant character and natural vitality. She paints with the confidence of a 'free spirit’. Her ‘still life’ flowers are anything but still, and her work is full of optimism and colour.
